Tonette Johnson NC REALTOR®
Q: What made you choose a career in Real Estate?
A: Back in 2017, when I bought my home, I had no experience in the home-buying process. I only visited three houses before getting into a contract and had to sign numerous documents, which made me uneasy. A few years later, when Covid-19 struck, Real Estate classes became available online. This coincided with me being furloughed from my job as an Events Coordinator at Marriott and homeschooling my children. The timing couldn't have been better!
Q:What is your favorite aspect of Real Estate?
A: I find great joy in helping others, which I consider essential. Negotiating for my clients is something I'm passionate about; some have even recommended that I pursue a career in law due to my skills. Describing the attractive qualities of a home and its surroundings brings me immense happiness. I've acquired knowledge about each neighborhood through hands-on experience. Discovering new local places is always exciting. Lastly, I have a deep interest in all aspects of equity.
Q:What is your least favorite aspect of Real Estate?
A: To be completely honest, there is a deficiency in authenticity and moral ethics within this field.
Q:Why should someone work with you?
A: I pride myself on being genuine and trustworthy. As a well-connected and respected leader in my community, selling homes is more than just a job – it's a passion that provides me with income and the opportunity to spend quality time with my children. I never pretend to know everything; if I don't have the answer, I make sure to find it. I am solution driven & a very creative problem solver!I make it happen.
