Run Your Distance
There’s a distance for everyone! Choose between the full marathon, half marathon, 10k, and 5k. This year we even have a Shadow Runner option for any of our participants that are unable to make it to the in-person race.

*Please Note: Daylight saving time changes at 2:00am ET on Sunday, November 6. Be sure to set your clocks back one hour to be on time for the start!
COVID-19 Safety
We highly recommend that all of our participants wear masks at the start line before the race and upon crossing the finish line at the end of the race as well as maintaining a social distance of 6ft when possible. We will continue to abide by local and state rules and regulations. In the event new regulations are put into place, we will update all of our participants as soon as possible.
Start & Finish Location
Start Line: 400 Glenwood Ave, Raleigh, NC 27603
Finish Line: Smoky Hollow – 500 N West Street, Raleigh, NC 27603
Directions
From RDU airport, follow signs for I-40 East toward Raleigh. Once on I-40 East, drive 5 miles to Wade Avenue/North Raleigh and use the right 2 lanes to take exit 289 for Wade Avenue toward I-440/US-1 N. Keep left to continue on Wade Ave to Glenwood Ave. In about 6 miles, use the right lane to take the Glenwood Ave ramp and turn right onto Glenwood Ave.
Timing
The Raleigh Pendo City of Oaks Marathon, Half Marathon, Old Reliable 10k and Acorn 5k will utilize chip timing. The Kids Mile will not be timed.
Time Limit
Marathon: 6 hours (1:00 PM)
Half Marathon: 3.5 hours (10:30 AM)
Old Reliable 10k: 2 hours (9:00 AM)
Acorn 5k: 2 hours (9:20 AM)
Any runners remaining on the course after the time limit will no longer be considered race participants and will be required to follow pedestrian laws. Official times and post-race amenities cannot be guaranteed for runners who finish after the time limit. Please note, there will note be a sag wagon available to pick up runners who are unable to meet this time limit.
Awards Info
Overall awards will be given to male and female overall winners based on gun time. Age group awards will be given to male and female overall winners based on chip time. Winners must be present to receive their prize; awards will not be mailed out.
