A JEALOUS GOD

I swear the moon is following me. It always feels so close, like it's right outside my window. I've never noticed the moon this much before but I’ve also been looking up a lot more.

I try to take pictures, but when I do, it’s always too far to capture. I just smile at the intimate moment.

I looked up what the Bible says about the moon. In the Bible the moon reflects Gods glory , his love & protective nature. So good!

Also, check out the photos below. I see a dragon, a rose, and a scorpion in the fire. No, these aren’t AI-generated—they’re from the last Sunday Dinner of 2024. I’ve never seen a fire dance like it did that night. No smoke just fire & to capture the images. Just WOW!

I don’t think we fully grasp what we mean when we say God is "a-MAZE-ing," "Wonder-FULL," or "AWE-some." His mysteries are beyond measure, infinite. I’m just so thankful I get to experience what I can handle on Earth.

I get why God would be jealous over His children. It’s hard to understand why such a magnificent God would care about us, but He does. He enjoys hanging out with us, delighting in our conversations, our quality time, and our trust.

Nothing compares to Him—not even close. So, I totally get why giving something or someone more attention than we give to Him would upset Him. Yet, He still course-corrects and blesses us with things He knows will make us smile.

I’m thankful He doesn’t let me create idols. Whatever I try to obsess over, He quickly removes.

Then, as I realign myself, He begins showing me more of what He can do—He literally shows out. We have a time! I call it Him pouring out His jealousy onto me—just showing me that no one could ever love me like He does or be as good to me as He is.

In true Toni nature, I love adventure, so I say , “So COOL! Show me more, more!” (literally, lol)
