ACQUIRED TASTE

For clarity, when I refer to "healthy," I'm talking about life, body, food, relationships, religion, and mindsets.

Don't expect to automatically embrace health when the world constantly feeds you saturated fats, processed foods, and artificial additives. That's what you've grown accustomed to.

Adopting a healthy lifestyle takes time. You need to actively want it. It won't be what you're used to, and that's a good thing because what you're used to is slowly harming you.

When people make jokes and say, "Uh uh, I'm not into all that healthy stuff," as if there's something wrong with it, my heart silently prays for them. What they’re really saying is that they believe it's too difficult to be better.

Healthy living is definitely an acquired taste. It requires effort and happens over time, with constant corrections, and that's okay. It's not about perfection—it's about discovery and growth. The process can actually be enjoyable, and eventually, it becomes second nature. The best part is seeing the real, positive changes, and feeling the peace that comes with them.

Here's to the things that take time to appreciate!
