I've caught on to a certain vibe that sneaks into my photos. My photos suggest at mindset that is very real. With little to no detail into my personal life. “Prison & Jail are not the same” as Kay Williams so eloquently mentioned. Yes, I intentionally omit the trash in the background until it’s packaged pretty enough to picture. Hypothetically of course.
Butter Beans
I realize now that I never mentioned my experience as a chef in a hospital's oncology department. I spent two long months in that kitchen, perplexed by the abundance of canned foods over fresh ingredients. It baffled me why everything was highly processed and why the hospital served chicken broth made from bouillon to sick patients. Where was the nourishing food like bone broth and butter beans? Serving such meals felt wrong to me, and I knew I had to leave!
